Meet Alice McLoughlin.

Alice McLoughlin is an Irish writer and poet from Westport, Co.Mayo. Her debut poetry collection Floating in Circles (published November 2024) was longlisted for the Carousel Aware Prize for Independent Authors 2025.

Other work includes Hazel, a short screenplay finalist at Waterford Film Festival 2019; work staged at The Abbey Theatre and Westport Town Hall Theatre, and her poem We Were is part of the Pendemic collection archived in University College Dublin for future generations.

She works as a freelance writer and editor.
